Effects & Surface Finish

Raised 3D moulding lifts the logo above the base so the mark sits proud of the surface; 3D silicone patches feel tangible under the finger and suit a large chest badge. Flat 2D embossing keeps the same artwork level with the base and follows the fabric more closely, and it holds fine type, thin strokes and small lettering better because added depth would blur the edges. Engraved artwork is cut into the moulded surface instead of raised on it, giving a subtle, tonal mark for understated branding. One artwork can be run in more than one effect, so a collection can pair a raised chest badge with a flat sleeve label without redrawing the logo.

Applications

  • Sportswear and athleisure: silicone patches for clothing move with the stretch of jersey and mesh instead of pulling at the fabric, which suits training tops, leggings and performance tees.
  • Casualwear, denim and outerwear: on heavier cotton the label carries the branding as a solid, visible mark, and the artwork can be scaled up without losing edge definition.
  • Workwear and uniforms: one approved set of custom garment labels keeps a large staff run looking identical, which matters when garments are reordered across seasons.
  • Bags, caps and headwear: custom silicone patches are also used on totes, backpacks and caps, where a moulded badge takes daily abrasion better than a printed fabric tag.
  • Promotional and corporate gifting: brands order these labels as a branded item for merchandise drops, event giveaways and gift sets.

Care, Washing & Storage

Moulded silicone is waterproof and fade-resistant, so a labelled garment can go through the normal laundry cycle with the rest of the load. Turn the garment inside out and keep the iron off the badge: direct heat softens the moulding and a pressed iron will flatten raised detail. Solvent spot-cleaning can dull a matt surface, so lift marks with mild detergent and a soft brush. Store finished stock flat and out of direct sun. If your wash line runs industrial cycles, tell us so we can confirm the attachment.

Scale & Supply Capability

TWINGS INDUSTRIAL CO.,LTD supplies custom labels and patches for garment and footwear branding. Our range covers soft PVC and TPR patches, heat transfer TPU labels, embossed logo and printed badges, and silicone labels and badges, so buyers can source related branding items from one supplier. We work to your own artwork and application requirements, with OEM and custom development support across material, embossed or printed effect, and how the item is attached. Send your drawings and target use, and we will recommend the construction that fits.

FAQ

Q1. Can these labels be used on shoes as well as garments?

Yes. We supply silicone labels for footwear as well as clothing, and on shoes they are usually placed on the tongue and the side panel. Send us the exact placement and the shoe style, and we will confirm the size and the attachment that holds on that surface.

Q2. How do you match our brand colour, and will the finish change it?

Colour is matched to the references you send — a swatch, a Pantone number or an existing product. A moulded surface catches light differently from a flat one, so the same colour reads softer in a matt finish and deeper in a shiny finish. On 3D silicone patches the raised edges catch light as well, so approve the finish and the effect together.

Q3. Should the label be sewn on or heat applied?

Stitched labels work well on heavier fabrics and outerwear, where the badge can be sewn through prepared edges. A heat transfer version of the same artwork suits fabrics that take a welded finish. Tell us the fabric and the wear position and we will confirm which construction holds up better.

Q4. What size should we choose for a chest badge or a back-neck label?

Size follows the artwork and the placement rather than a fixed standard. A chest badge usually needs to be large enough to read from about a metre away, while a back-neck or sleeve label has to fit inside the seam and stay comfortable against the skin. Send the garment and the wear position and we will suggest a working size.

Q5. Can you reproduce the same label for a later season?

Yes. As a custom label manufacturer, we keep approved artwork, colour references and tooling on file, so a repeat order matches the first run. If the fabric or finish changes between seasons, tell us when you reorder so we can check that the attachment and the surface still suit the garment.

Q6. Do you make other labels and patches for the same collection?

Alongside these badges we produce soft PVC and TPR patches, heat transfer TPU labels and custom silicone patches in the same plant. Running one artwork across the range keeps the logo consistent when a style needs a moulded badge and another a transfer label. Send the full list for your collection and we will match each item to the right material and attachment.
